Q. What do you mean ‘new’ subscription?

A. It means you can only get this discount on a channel you have not been subscribed to for at least 32 days.

Q. Does this apply to both Partner and Affiliate channels?

A. Yes, to both as long as they offer a recurring subscription!

Q. Does this apply to the $4.99, $9.99 and $24.99 Subscription options?

A. Yes, to all three!

Q. What about tax and VAT?

A. The 50% discount is on the base price of the subscription before any taxes are applied.

Q. When exactly is this happening?

A. Starting now and ending 11:59PM PDT October 2nd

Q. I subscribed through the Twitch Mobile App/Twitch Desktop App/beta experience at go.twitch.tv but the subscription was full price. What should I do?

A. If you have purchased a subscription before 9/7, 10:15AM PT on these platforms, please file a support ticket here for assistance.

Q: What happens if I immediately cancel the subscription using the ‘CANCEL’ button and not the ‘DON’T RENEW’ button?

A: This will cancel your subscription immediately and issue you a refund within 48 hours. Your account will no longer be eligible for the half off promotion on this channel subscription.
